The Deep Island Rum Fall Spice
1½ oz Deep Island Hawaiian Rum
1½ oz fresh Granny Smith apples finely chopped
2 oz unfiltered pure apple juice or cider
½ tsp Elixer G ginger syrup
3/4 oz simple syrup
½ oz fresh lemon juice
pinch (1/8 tsp) of cinnamon
pinch (1/8 tsp) of all spice
Muddle apple in a shaker.
Add Deep Island Hawaiian Rum, and remaining ingredients and bruise.
Strain into a martini glass.
Garnish: Thin slice of Granny Smith apple or cinnamon stick.
The Deep Island Rum Rum Raisin
1 1/2 oz Deep Island Hawaiian Rum
1 tbsp rum soaked raisins
2 oz apple juice
1/2 oz cream
1/2 oz vanilla simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice and bruise.
Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish: Drop 3 rum soaked raisins into bottom of glass.
I love your Ocean Vodka. I visited your wonderful production facilities in January 2014. You mentioned that you were producing a rum. I see that it is in existence and goes by the name “Deep Island Hawaiian Rum.” I am anxious to try it. Where can I get it on the Mainland?
