Exquisite vocals, powerful lyrics and gorgeous melodies have earned Paula Fuga widespread critical praise and an incredibly dedicated fan base. Paula is a cultural ambassador, playing music for her Hawaiian culture and spreading the thoughtful and evocative voice of the Hawaiian people across the world. She has been likened to a Hawaiian Lauryn Hill, and has been embraced by a range of other inspiring artists like Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Ziggy Marley, and Nick Hexum of 311. “I use my talent as an instrument to help bring about positive social change within the islands and beyond,” says Paula. “Instilling the Hawaiian culture in the generations to come and, generally, being a beacon of the meditative and healing powers of the Hawaiian people.”
“The Point” at Ocean Vodka Organic Farm and Distillery is a 22,000 square foot grassy plateau on the slopes of Mount Haleakala.
“Living in Hawaii we love to take time to enjoy our environment, and often gather together to appreciate good food, good friends and good fun,” says Ocean Vodka CEO Shay Smith. “With our celebrations at The Point, we look forward to building an ongoing opportunity to welcome people to our home to enjoy the stunning environment and views.”

About Paula Fuga
Paula’s 2006 debut album “Lilikoi” was met with true astonishment by many in the music business. The self-produced/released collection of all-original songs featuring ‛ukulele and nose flute runs deep with intensity and emotion, yet is widely appealing and accessible. Through that release, Paula set a new benchmark in independent music production, an album with masterful production and genuine cultural connection that have caused people to sit up and take notice. Paula recorded a song she wrote with Jack Johnson called “Country Road” for the Mana Maoli CD, which benefits Native Hawaiian public charter schools., and her 2006 Kokua Festival performance induced chicken skin throughout the audience. Paula’s 2010 EP Misery’s End contained five gems, including the astounding title track and “Parachute,” an uplifting anthem which she co-wrote with her Dubkonscious bandmate Mike Love. The compelling opening track, “Give Voice” is another collaboration with Jack Johnson, and she also teams up with Ziggy Marley on a remarkable cover of his devotional song, “High Tide or Low Tide.”
