(Kula, Maui, HI) April 29, 2020 – Hawaii Sea Spirits llc (HSS), makers of OCEAN Organic Vodka and Kula Rums, is opening their farm store to make available hand sanitizer for general public purchase.
“We have been utilizing some of our production to make hand sanitizer and initially gave it to first responders and environments of high risk”, stated Shay Smith – Founder and President of Hawaii Sea Spirits. “We’ve received numerous calls and emails from consumers requesting the hygiene products since many stores are still without.”
“Now that we’ve been able to supply those on the front lines, we are continuing to produce the hygiene products for consumers to purchase at our gift shop. Our team is committed to supporting our local community and are taking all measures necessary to comply with health mandates”, said Shay.
The company will open its gift shop, at 4051 Omaopio Rd, Kula, Maui, from 10:00am until 3:00pm Monday through Thursday each week starting May 4. Once on the property, signs will direct visitors to the gift shop while adhering to social distancing allowing only one guest in the store at a time to make their purchase. The hand sanitizer is formulated, packaged and labeled in compliance with FDA regulations regarding this type of product. It is produced from USP (United States Pharmacopeia) grade ingredients and the active ingredient is Maui made – certified organic alcohol.
